Our Mission and Operating Principles:

Bowen Island Sea Kayaking staff are dedicated to offering safe, informative, and fun experiences on the water to both novice and experienced paddlers.

• Our number one priority is safety.
• We are interested in our guests and seek to understand their abilities and their expectations before accepting payment.
• We provide well-maintained kayaks, paddling gear, and safety equipment.
• We offer every guest a basic introduction to paddling.
• We are committed to protecting the marine environment and make an effort to share our respect of nature and knowledge of the local ecology with guests.
• As Bowen Island hosts and representatives of BISK, we greet our guests with a welcoming, attentive attitude, which we demonstrate by making eye contact, and being sincere and helpful.
• We interact with our work colleagues in polite, friendly and helpful ways. Harassment or abuse of any kind will not be tolerated.
