Caravan Farm Theatre is a 35 year old professional outdoor theatre company based on an 80-acre farm, 11 kilometers NW of Armstrong BC.

Caravan Farm Theatre specializes in original work and innovative outdoor staging. Our productions are typically newly commissioned works by Canadian playwrights that speak to and are inspired by the surrounding rural community. They are narrative in structure, epic in scale, magical in design and concept, and firmly rooted in meaning and emotional depth.

Caravan productions are constructed and designed around the land we reside on and our horses are used as stage machinery and character. Performed at various locations around the property every year, our audiences are treated to unique theatrical productions using horses, wagons, sleighs, car, truck, bicycle, wheelbarrow, masks, large-scale puppets, gregarious costumes, and hand painted sets to create highly visceral worlds. Caravan audiences have come to expect nothing less than grand outdoor spectacle with meaningful narrative, plot, and characters reflecting their rural experiences and stories.
