North Island Kayak specializes in Sea Kayaking Tours with Orcas and Humpback Whales from Telegraph Cove on Northern Vancouver Island, British Columbia (BC), Canada. The primary focus of our tours are to showcase the spectacular wildlife and scenery to be found in this remote pacific wilderness. Our sea kayak tours navigate the bodies of water known as Johnstone Strait and Queen Charolotte which are internationally renowned as the best place in the world to see wales in their wild, natural habitat. We visit the boundaries of Robson Bight and probe deep into the Broughton Archipelago. We are fortunate to be in an area that has seen a dramatic recovery in a Humpback Whale population that was previously decimated by whaling. Every year, more of these spectacular giants return to, or discover this region and spend the whole summer gorging on the abundance of tiny sea creatures they crave.

We offer kayak tours of many durations, suitable for all ages & abilities; from 2 hours, half day and day trips through 2, 3 & 4 day Sea Kayak Adventures to 5, 6 & 8 day Kayaking Expeditions.
