About Us

Pacific Sands Beach Resort is an authentically west coast beachfront resort in Tofino, BC. We have spacious all-suite accommodations, all with full kitchens, fireplaces and patios or balconies, ranging from studio suites to a 3-bedroom vacation home.

Located on spectacular Cox Bay on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, the resort sits on the edge of Pacific Rim National Park, a short scenic drive from Long Beach and Tofino's downtown core.

Built on family, romance and fun, guests have revered and returned to Pacific Sands for decades. From smores and board games to surfing adventures and boardwalk strolls to Pettinger Point, it's a hotbed of history and memories.

The resort is located on 41 acres, including over 1000 feet of beachfront and Pettinger Point (360-degree lookout over Cox Bay, Rosie Bay and Chesterman Beach). We offer onsite surf lessons and rentals and a beachside grill (both run independently from the resort).

Our expansive property includes a boardwalk trail to Pettinger Point, gas firepits, BBQ stations, on-site laundry, bike rentals and expansive lawn with picnic tables and hammocks. In addition, we have an extensive supply of DVDs, boardgames and beach toys to borrow. During holiday periods we offer free s’mores, complimentary yoga and kids programs.

Our property has 54 individual staff accommodation bedrooms. Costs range from $475 – $800 monthly depending on the unit size. Rent is charged daily and deducted from bi-weekly payroll.

We don’t currently have length of stay restrictions; however, our staff accommodations are intended more for full-time entry level employees.
