The Painted Turtle Guesthouse is a true home away from home, where guests are likely to feel an immediate sense of community and meet like-minded people from the region and around the world.  We offer common area amenities that encourage converstion and interaction, making it easy for world travellers to have an experience which is shared with other guests.  We welcome single travelers, families, all couples, active seniors and business people – the common thread is that all our guests are looking for an affordable, clean and comfortable place to stay in the City of Nanaimo.

The Guesthouse offers affordable, lifestyle-oriented accommodation to each and every guest. We pride ourselves in offering warm hospitality, clean comfort and basic amenities – you bring the ‘extras’. All linens, towels and furnishings are provided. Like other European-style heritage buildings, none of our rooms offer ensuite bathrooms – guests share clean, well-appointed private use washrooms and showers.
