Prince of Whales (POW) is British Columbia's largest and most experienced whale watching and adventure transportation company. We offer high quality professionally guided tours year-round, and serve Victoria and Vancouver BC and Seattle WA. Our fleet includes a 78' Catamaran (Salish Sea Dream ), two comfortable and spacious 62' Express Cruisers (Ocean Magic & Ocean Magic II), and ten zodiac-style vessels. We can easily combine any marine tour with seaplane and helicopter options for that classic westcoast Canada experience. Our package day tours can be completed over multiple days at no extra cost.

Exclusive to Prince of Whales, our Canadian Signature Experience 'Ultimate Day Tour' is the ultimate way to enjoy a day trip from Vancouver to Victoria. Travel direct from downtown Vancouver on our 74 passenger Ocean Magic as we look for whales, eagles and other marine wildlife en-route to  Victoria.  Arrive right downtown at Victoria's Inner Harbour with free time to explore, then be escorted to world-famous Butchart Gardens by guided coach. After enjoying the Gardens you will meet our Ocean Magic at Butchart's private cove, for your quick and scenic sunset cruise return to Vancouver.

We operate year-round on award-winning 3 hour whale-watch adventures on our zodiacs or on our Ocean Magic II.

From Seattle
We offer exclusive departures by air and sea year-round, with travel and whale watching all part of the package. Newest additions include our 'Seattle Whales to Vancouver' package which includes transportation from Seattle to Vancouver (or vice versa) with whale watching as part of the journey!
