About Us
Tourism Abbotsford is a city destination marketing organzation which was formed by the local tourism industry in 2003 based on a collective recognition of the vital role that tourism plays as an economic cornerstone for the City of Abbotsford.
Tourism Abbotsford has three primary business functions. The first, to provide visitor information services, the second, to undertake destination marketing activities on behalf of and in collaboration with our marketing partners and tourism stakeholders, the third, to operate the Fraser Valley Trade & Exhibition Centre – Tradex. Our primary goal is to assist local tourism operators to “build their bottom line” by creating a positive connection between them and their potential customers. Our marketing partners consist of all tourism and tourism related businesses currently residing or doing business in Abbotsford.
