About Us
Tourism Nanaimo is a destination marketing organization. Our job is to promote Nanaimo as a great place to live, work, play and stay! We spend our days sharing all the amazing places Nanaimo has to explore, from restaurants to farms and museums to parks and trails. We tell stories about the history of the community, how to meet the locals (mammals or humans) and of course where to find our famous Nanaimo Bars. We make suggestions about traveling safely, respecting the environment and connecting visitors to local service providers. We also work with our tourism partners from coast to coast to coast, and internationally to encourage visitors to choose Nanaimo.
