Tucked away in the heart of the Southern Chilcotin Mountains lies western Canada's first largest log lodge, romantically nestled on the shores of glacier-fed Tyaughton Lake.

Tyax Lodge, a remote first class wilderness resort, is located 5 hours north of Vancouver and 1 ½ hours west of Lillooet. During the summer months, stay in one of our 29 spacious lodge rooms, cozy lakeside log chalets, or a lake-front campsite. Experience exquisite dining in our restaurant & lounge or lakeside patio; breakfast, lunch and dinner offered as a la carte for our guests during their stay. Complimentary use of canoes, kayaks and standup paddle boards are available for our guests, plus a lovely full-service spa including an outdoor jacuzzi, indoor wood sauna, infrared sauna and steam room (spa subject to availability based on covid-19 requirements).

Horseback riding and mountain biking tours are available at near-by locations, offered through separate companies from Tyax Lodge. Excellent fishing, secluded interpretive nature trails, volleyball, disc golf, bocce, croquet, horseshoes, badminton, recreation & fitness rooms are just a few more perks our lodge has to offer! Tyax is also the perfect (and popular) setting for a wedding, family gathering, club meeting or fundraiser.

In winter months (mid January to mid April), the lodge changes gears and offers 3 to 7 day all-inclusive heliski packages offering our notorious "unlimited vertical", "single group" heliskiing to ski/board enthusiasts from around the globe. Our 830,00 acres of ski terrain and more than 375 existing runs insure our knowledgeable and expert guides find the ideal snow conditions for a memorable powder ski adventure of a lifetime!
