About Us
The Vancouver Police Museum is ranked one of the best police museums in the world by the International Police Association. It’s public programs are ranked among the best in the city by Yelp.com, and canoe.ca rated the museum’s Sins of the City program one of the World’s Ten Best City Walks. Housed in a heritage building that was once the Coroner’s Court, the City Morgue and the city’s autopsy facilities, the Vancouver Police Museum offers interactive school and public programs in forensic sciences, crime history and law enforcement that satisfy major curriculum requirements of the B.C. Ministry of Education.
The museum is open to the public Tuesday to Saturday. Public visitors may tour the museum on their own, particpate in a fun forensics, solve-a-crime exercise, or take one of the museum’s neighbourhood walks to discover the edgier side of Vancouver’s history.
