About Us
The Wilderness Tourism Association of British Columbia (WTA) is a not-for-profit organization that represents a selection of BC’s world-class, wilderness-based tourism operators. The WTA provides support to its membership in the form of advocacy and marketing. The WTA works with industry, government and non-government organizations to address threats and opportunities for a healthy, sustainable tourism industry and environment for years to come. The WTA gathers information from other tourism associations and sectors, and from the WTA membership to develop marketing strategies and campaigns that encourage domestic and international wilderness tourism in BC.
