Crystal Cove Beach Resorts “Bean at The Cove” Coffee Bar is searching for one Barista/ Guest Services Team Member for Crystal Cove Beach Resort. You will be working one day or two days in the coffee bar, and the rest of the time in our busy office! This is best suited for a couple/friends or a single who love the RV lifestyle, and own an RV that can be lived in year-round. For the right couple/friends we could provide another full-time job.
Please indicate in your email if you have an RV/camper van and the length of the vehicle. (Max 28ft) We do have one RV site available for the right candidate, full hook up. This is a long-term position. You are able to start October 1-October 15, 2024. The RV site is free and included as part of your compensation.

Please let us know if you have allergies to dogs. We do have a couple of office dogs that are here to make us smile.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

While experience is not necessary, if you do have barista experience, that would be amazing!
At Bean at the Cove, we represent the Starbucks brand. You’ll create the Starbucks Experience for our customers through excellent service and expertly-crafted products.
You’ll be in an energetic coffee bar/resort reception environment and meet new people every day, and also greet the many locals that come through our doors.
• You understand how to create a great customer service experience.
• Have a focus on quality and take pride in your work.
• Are open to learning new things (especially the latest beverage recipe!)
• Are comfortable with responsibilities like cash-handling and store safety.
• Can keep cool and calm in a fast-paced, energetic work environment. Tofino summers are busy!
• Can maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Have excellent communications skills.
• You are a team player, flexible, and can work with all different personalities!
For Guest Services – You will be in the Crystal Cove Beach Resort environment and meet new people every day.
• You are able to lift 25lbs, and can clean office washrooms, windows, vacuum, and restock supplies
• You are able to work days, evenings (until 10pm) and weekends.
• Take reservations over the phone or in person and enter them into the online system
• Check guests in and out
• Process payments

Compensation This position pays $18/per hour with a free RV site for your RV. Review after 3-month probation is completed. Saturdays and Sundays are a must, 7:30am-1:30pm. You work the Bean at the Cove Coffee bar shift; you keep all of the tips! Free full benefit package after 3 months, RRSP plan that is contributed to by the Resort, staff lunches during busy days, twice annual tip out to all staff, Winter Holiday party, and summer staff party. The RV site is free and included as part of your compensation.
