At Tourism Ch’illiwack, we believe in balancing hard work with meaningful impact. While this isn’t a traditional 9-to-5 role, the variety makes it rewarding. Some days your hours may differ to support community events, while others might see you setting up an outreach booth near a local trail to educate visitors about preserving Chilliwack’s incredible natural treasures. The Role

We’re seeking a versatile Brand and Creative Manager to join our team on a contract basis to cover a maternity leave. Reporting to the Executive Director, you’ll collaborate with the Destination Marketing Manager, Social Media and Marketing Assistant, and Visitor Services and Retail Manager to lead exciting projects and ensure our brand shines across all initiatives.

You’ll also support the Visitor Centre by providing wayfinding information, assisting customers with Flag Shop purchases, and showcasing Chilliwack merchandise to locals and visitors alike.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
– Project Management: Deliver marketing projects on time and on budget.
– Graphic Design: Create ads, signage, presentations, merchandise, guides, and marketing collateral while maintaining brand consistency.
– Brand Management: Ensure Tourism Ch’illiwack’s voice and visuals are consistent and engaging.
– Visitor Centre Support: Help customers with wayfinding, Flag Shop purchases, and merchandise sales.
– Team Support: Collaborate on destination development and community initiatives, contributing creative solutions and supporting team members with design expertise as needed.

What You Bring
– Expertise: Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator (Photoshop/Lightroom are assets).
– Experience: 3+ years in brand management, graphic design, or project management.
– Passion: A love for Chilliwack and the tourism industry with a can do attitude.
– Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
– Extras (Nice to Have): Photography skills or experience working with WordPress(training available).
– Must-Have: Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.

Salary/Wage

25-27/hr

Work Schedule In-office: 3 days/week, with the potential to work from home 1 day/week.
