CAFÉ ONE RESTAURANT SERVER

What your day will look like:
· Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
· Take orders accurately and answer any questions about the menu.
· Offer recommendations and provide information about daily specials.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
· Minimum of two to three years’ experience in a server role is required.
· Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English, a second language is an asset.
· Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written (via phone and in-person).
· OpenTable knowledge is an asset / Micros knowledge is an asset.
· Must have Serving it Right and FoodSafe Level 1 Certification.
· Knowledge of food and alcoholic beverages.
· A positive, upbeat attitude with the ability to work well under pressure within a team.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
· Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill a variety of opening or closing duties.
· Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 5 hours in length and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
· Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
· Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to work under pressure.
· Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.
· Must be eligible to work in Canada. Valid Work or Study Permits – 1 Year Minimum Validity.
Salary/Wage
$18.00-$20.15 per hour
