Job Description

The Chef de Partie is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for overseeing daily tasks in the kitchen. You will ensure the quality, consistency, and presentation of dishes prepared, maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests in all department areas (dining room, in room dining, banquets).

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
• Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets
• Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
• Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

• 2+ years experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-end hotel or restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-working skills.
• Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications, Red Seal certification preferred.
• FoodSafe certification required.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
