What You Bring:
-Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and kitchen best practices, including special dietary needs and allergens.
-Proficiency in knife handling, food preparation, plating, and kitchen equipment use.
-Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role; a culinary degree and Food Safe Certification Level 2 are highly desirable.
-Ability to stand for long hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform in a high-pressure, high-temperature kitchen.
-Excellent teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills in English.
-Creativity and innovation to contribute to our evolving menu.
-Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
-Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You’ll Do:
-Station Management & Preparation – Ensure your station is fully prepped, organized, and up to hygiene and food safety standards. -Support workflow coordination and report any equipment issues.
-Cooking & Quality Control – Prepare and cook dishes to perfection, maintaining ideal temperatures, flavors, and presentation.
-Training & Supervision – Mentor junior staff, oversee workflow, and provide coaching and feedback. Assist with scheduling when needed.
-Collaboration & Leadership – Communicate effectively with the kitchen team, step in for senior chefs when necessary, and foster a positive work culture.
-Inventory & Safety Compliance – Manage ingredient stock, ensure freshness, rotate supplies, and maintain food safety regulations.
-Problem-Solving & Support – Identify and address kitchen challenges while maintaining efficiency and a high-functioning environment.
