Responsibilities & Qualifications

A Day in the Life!

Demonstrate your exemplary culinary skills through your leadership over key culinary stations in the kitchen
Ensure the consistency and quality of all meals created
Create menus and daily fresh sheets
Maintain accountability for brigade
Assist the Sous Chef with ordering and receiving of ingredients.

Must haves:

Minimum 1–2-year experience as a Chef De Partie in a first-class culinary environment
Excellent technical knowledge of contemporary cooking styles and ingredients
A proven understanding of and sincere interest in developing food and wine pairing knowledge
Interprovincial Journeyman’s Certificate an asset
Comfortable meeting the physical requirements of the position including lifting to 50 lbs., standing for long periods of time, and navigating stairs
Flexible scheduling – working days, evenings and weekends required

Salary/Wage

24/hour
