Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, and responsible coach bus drivers to join our team for local tours, starting immediately. Starting May 1st through October 15th we will be offering daily tours to Victoria, Whistler and Vancouver. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, enjoy engaging with people, be comfortable navigating various local routes and be a compliment to the step on guide. Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:
Perform full pre and post trip vehicle inspections, maintain and clean coaches before and after each shift.
Safely operate a coach bus on local routes for sightseeing and group tours.
Provide an enjoyable and informative experience for passengers during the tour.
Maintain a clean, presentable, and comfortable bus environment for passengers.
Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure passenger safety.
Assist passengers with boarding, disembarking, and storing personal belongings.
Communicate clearly and effectively with tour guides and passengers.
Manage and report any mechanical or safety issues with the vehicle promptly.
Ensure timely arrivals and departures from tour destinations.
Assist in handling payments and checking tickets as needed.
Be enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the local area, offering insights during tours when appropriate.
Foster a positive and friendly atmosphere for all passengers.

Qualifications:
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
Clean driving record and no history of accidents or violations.
Previous driving experience preferred (coach, bus, or similar vehicle).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Energetic, friendly, and approachable personality.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
Strong knowledge of local routes, landmarks, and tourist attractions (or willingness to learn).
Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for luggage assistance.
