JOB POSTING YHCD 001: Dockhand
SHIFT: 10-hour shifts, and schedule will vary based on operational requirements

LOCATION: Downtown Vancouver, B.C.

TERM: Full Time, Seasonal

WAGE: Starting at $22.00/hr

WHO WE ARE:
Seair Seaplanes has been in operation for over 40 years and has 12 aircraft, providing scheduled service, scenic tours and charters throughout southern B.C.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Securing, and releasing aircraft
-Baggage and cargo handling
-Loading/unloading aircraft
-Maintaining cleanliness of aircraft interior and exterior
-Fueling aircraft
-Meeting and greeting passengers
-Escorting passengers to/from aircraft
-Communicating effectively with team members
-Follow company safety practices and standards
-Other duties as required

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
-Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
-Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
-Able to work in a team environment as well as individually
-Must have initiative and have a strong work ethic
-Must have outstanding customer service skills
-Previous aviation or marine experience is an asset

Salary/Wage

22.00/hour
