Driftwood Brewery is on the lookout for a Seasonal Event Support Specialist to join our team of beer-loving legends. This isn’t your typical 9-to-5. You’ll be out in the wild—at festivals, tastings, and events—spreading the good word about our brews, meeting awesome people, and making sure everyone’s having a great time (responsibly, of course).

If you’re passionate about craft beer, love a good chat, and don’t mind a bit of heavy lifting (we’re talking kegs, not gym weights), we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:
• Be the face of Driftwood at events, tastings, and festivals.
• Chat with customers about our beers & spirits and why we love what we do.
• Pour beer like a pro (don’t worry, we’ll teach you).
• Set up and tear down event booths (yes, this includes hauling kegs and tents).
• Keep things legal—check IDs, monitor consumption, and follow all BC liquor laws.
• Track inventory (beer, spirits, merch, and promo stuff).
• Promote and sell our beers and spirits with enthusiasm.
• Gather feedback from beer and spirit lovers to help us keep improving.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You Bring to the Table:
• You’re 19+ and you’ve got your Serving It Right certification (or you’re ready to get it).
• You’re outgoing, friendly, and love talking to people.
• Know your IPAs from your lagers—or you’re eager to learn.
• You’re reliable, organized, and can handle a busy event like a champ.
• You can lift up to 50 lbs.
• You’ve got a valid driver’s license and a way to get to events. (Access to and use of personal vehicle)
• You’re cool with working evenings, weekends, and holidays.

When You’ll Work:
• Training kicks off during the beginning of May, and the gig runs until the end of September.
• Flexible schedule, but commitment to pre-determined Calendar of Events, with the expectation to be busy when the sun’s out, and the beer’s flowing.

Salary/Wage

25 per hour
