Job Description
As a Restaurant General Manager at Golden Goose Holdings Ltd. dba McDonald’s, you’ll be at the heart of creating an outstanding experience for both our team and our guests. You’ll oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring it’s a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Your role is fast-paced, challenging, and incredibly rewarding, as you directly lead and manage your team to success. Responsibilities & Qualifications
*Lead and inspire your team: Directly manage and motivate your team to deliver excellent customer service, while fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
*Day-to-day operations: Oversee restaurant operations, ensuring a safe, secure, and clean environment for both your team and your guests.
*Drive performance: Focus on building sales, driving profitability, and achieving team goals, all while maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
*Build and maintain culture: Create a work environment that encourages teamwork, development, and a commitment to our guests.
*Community engagement: Participate in local events and initiatives to build relationships within the community and represent McDonald’s.
What You Bring to the Table
We are looking for an individual who brings energy, leadership, and a passion for success. You’re a natural motivator with the ability to inspire and develop your team in a fast-paced environment. Here’s what you bring:
*Experience leading and managing a team: You have 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience managing and developing teams, preferably in the food service or retail sector.
*Strong educational foundation: While a college or program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is preferred, your experience and passion for leadership are what truly count.
*Proven leadership skills: You excel in managing day-to-day operations, solving problems, and ensuring your team meets their goals. You know how to keep a team motivated and engaged.
*Customer-focused mindset: You prioritize delivering outstanding service and creating a positive experience for both guests and staff.
*Strong communication: You communicate clearly and effectively, in English, with your team and guests. French is an asset but not a requirement.
*Flexibility: You understand that the nature of the job requires some flexibility to meet operational needs, including availability on weekends and statutory holidays. We support a work-life balance while ensuring operational success.
*Class 5 driver’s license is an asset.
Salary/Wage
55,558.94 annually
