Position Summary
Eleven seeks a Financial Administration Assistant to assist the global financial team with accounting, legal, admin, asset management, and financial matters related to operations in Canada and Alaska. This position will work closely with Eleven Operations, Eleven Capital Management, Grassy Creek & Administration teams to help manage accounts payable, budgets, inventory, financial reporting, and financial controls. This role requires 2+ years experience in accounting or finance, and residence within driving distance of Revelstoke, BC for weekly in person reporting. Responsibilities & Qualifications
Position Purpose
To support and assist the global financial team with accounting, admin, and financial matters related to operations in Canada. The Financial Operations Manager will work closely with the Eleven Finance and the Grassy Creek Finance & Administration department to help manage accounts payable, budgets, inventory, financial reporting, vendor agreements, and financial controls.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
Manage all accounts payable systems ensuring accurate coding and timely submission of invoices.
Resolve payment discrepancies and disputes on behalf of company while maintaining professional communication.
Manage all vendor agreements, negotiate prices and terms, ensure compliance and timely execution of agreements.
Assist the Finance and Administration team in compiling and verifying the accuracy of monthly sales reports, inventory reports, and local accounting records utilized for tax and regulatory reporting.
Review and analyze monthly financial reports, contributing to quantitative and qualitative analysis to be included in the monthly Management Report.
Review and improve existing financial controls and implement new controls as needed.
Manage and reconcile petty cash and out of pocket expenses.
Ensure legal and tax compliance.
Create/verify monthly credit card reports, and manage & review submissions.
Proactively assist local operations with accounting, follow up with vendors regarding discrepancies whilst maintaining a positive working relationship and seeking new solutions to common problems.
Work closely with the General Manager, Lodge staff, Culinary team, Asset Management team, Financial Accountant to ensure all accounting deadlines and information is provided in a timely manner.
Manage of the bi-monthly and monthly inventory processes.
Attend to ad-hoc projects as they come up.
Qualifications
2+ years of accounting and/or finance experience.
Residence within driving distance of Revelstoke, British Columbia for weekly in person reporting.
Special Position Requirements
