JOB SUMMARY:

As a team our goal is to create an unforgettable, picture-perfect experience for our guests. Your role in that goal is very important! At Copper Point Resort, our Guest Service Team wears most of the hats of a traditional hotel – from reservations specialist to activities director; we do it all.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Administration
• Train, supervise and support staff;
• Schedule shifts;
• Ensure timely and accurate customer service;
• Troubleshoot emergencies;
• Use accurate accounting and cash handling procedures;
• Communicate very effectively with all other departments within the hotel;
• Maintain an accurate inventory of rooms, reservations, and room assignments;
• Manage reservations made by phone, email and through OTA’s;
• Perform other related duties as required by the Guest Service Manager;

Customer Service
• Responsible for the Check in and Departure of hotel guests;
• Answer the hotel phone, both internal and external calls;
• Be an expert on local and onsite services and be able to provide information about them;
• Respond promptly and appropriately to guest requests;
• Handle complaints and specific customers inquiries;
• Represent the culture of Copper Point Resort and build repeat guests;

QUALIFICATIONS:

You are a team player who is excited to create a great experience for the guests Copper Point Resort! You are positive, driven and have a ‘glass half full’ outlook on life. Your other traits include:
• A passion for customer service and a strong attention to detail;
• Energetic, flexible, reliable, respectful, hands-on individual with initiative and integrity;
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment;
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills;
• Friendly and pleasant demeanor, courteous, self-motivated, and professional;

REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, independently and as part of a team;
• Ability to work different shift hours, and stand for an entire shift;
• Good computer skills; knowledge of Webrez Pro is preferred, but not a must;
• Previous Front Desk and/or Customer Service experience is preferred;
• Relevant education and experience in a hospitality or tourism setting is preferred.
