Job Description
The Granville Island Hotel, located on Granville Island, one of Canada’s top tourist destinations, is seeking a Guest Service Agent/Bell Person to assist our staff in delivering exceptional guest service, our Front Desk Employees are trained in front desk and reservations. Great incentives, benefits, and meals offered.
Work at a hotel with ample opportunity to learn and cross train in other areas such as bell services, concierge, banquets etc.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
– 1 year minimum hotel experience
– attention to detail and the ability to multitask is essential
– a passion for people and the hospitality industry
– be available for all shifts including evenings and weekends
– the ability to problem solve and make quick decisions
– be a Granville Island and Vancouver Ambassador, having a complete
understanding of the area and city, including current entertainment and events
Guest satisfaction is the number one priority. Knowledge of Opera PMS is an asset but not necessary.
