Job Description
The Housekeeping Manager at Sunrise Ridge Waterfront Resort is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all team members, guests and owners. This role involves leading, training, and supervising the housekeeping team while upholding high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation in guest rooms and public spaces.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
What you’ll be doing
Manage and schedule day to day activities of the housekeeping team.
Create housekeeping schedule using the budgeted labour and ensure productivity.
Ensure Strata housekeeping services are delivered in accordance with the Strata Services Agreement.
Manage housekeeping work order process.
Recruiting, training and development of the housekeeping team.
Ensure payroll is completed on time, approve time off requests and facilitate annual performance evaluations.
Develop annual plans and budgets with the General Manager.
Manage monthly inventories and ordering for the housekeeping department.
Assist the team with cleaning when needed.
