Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a detailed and organized HR Administrator for Payroll & Benefits to join our team! This position reports directly to HR Manager and work closely with all departments and General Manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Administer employee contracts, personal information, benefits package and employees’ profiles
• Setting up and updating payroll accounts for all employees
• Processing payroll on bi-weekly basis
• Working with all departments to collect timesheets, and reviewing and ensuring the timesheets are correct
• Generating the payroll reports for HR Manager and Controller to review
• Answering questions from employees with professional manners
• Implementing HR policies and procedures to increase workplace morale
• Tracking the attendance of employees and their use of vacation and sick days
• Implement and administer employee policies and promote positive employee relations
• Administer probationary period performance, assisting employees to register the benefits after probations
• Notifying employees who need continuing education or on-the-job training about upcoming classes or deadlines to renew licenses or certifications
• Assisting drafting and posting job descriptions, and candidate screening and assessment
• Assisting the orientation and onboarding for new employees

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Have payroll experience for at least 2 years.
Hospitality/ hotel experience is preferrable.
PCP Certification is required.
A thorough knowledge of BC Employment Standards Act
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft, including Words, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc

Salary/Wage

55000-60000
