We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to oversee all aspects of our resort’s information technology infrastructure. The IT Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems and implementing innovative solutions to enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency. This role also includes overseeing the user helpdesk to provide timely and effective technical support to staff and guests.

As an IT Manager you will:
Ensure efficient and personalized guest service meeting and exceeding Relais & Chateaux, AAA 4 & 5 Diamond and Forbes Standards.
Oversee the maintenance and operation of the resort’s IT systems, including networks, servers, and telecommunication systems.
Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems and data with on-site backup, NAS replication, and Cloud replication.
Manage relationships with external IT service providers and vendors.
Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Train team members on basic troubleshooting for the best guest experience.
Implement and maintain technology solutions that enhance the guest experience, such as high-speed internet access, guestroom entertainment systems, and mobile applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve guest IT issues promptly and efficiently.
Plan and execute IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Coordinate with other departments to align IT initiatives with overall resort objectives.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including data protection and cybersecurity.
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to safeguard the resort’s digital assets.
Streamline and automate operational processes through the effective use of technology.
Monitor and analyze system performance to identify areas for improvement.
Oversee the user helpdesk to ensure timely and effective technical support for staff and guests.
Track and analyze helpdesk performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

The willingness to learn in a team environment while striving to exceed Relais & Chateaux, AAA 4 & 5 Diamond and Forbes Standards.
A Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of network and server management, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Knowledge of programming languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, and experience with the Laravel framework (an asset)
Strong knowledge of Cisco Meraki switch and Firewall.
Strong knowledge of virtual environment with VMware tools.
Knowledge of the Phone system Mitel My Voice Business (an asset)
Proficiency in computer hardware, software, cabling, and installation.
A mutual understanding of your employment duration will be determined during your interview

Salary/Wage
