Job Description

Join our wine loving team today! We are looking for a Kitchen Manager/Head Cook for our on site kitchen. Work with fresh, local ingredients to create a simple, wine friendly picnic menu. Guests walk up to order and they can take it to go or enjoy with a little wine on our patio picnic area.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

As Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of our seasonal kitchen. You must hold valid Serving It Right and Food Safe certification. You will be responsible for inventory management, equipment maintenance, menu planning & execution, ordering and scheduling. Weekend availability is key.

The wage range starts at $25 and goes up depending on experience. We are willing to have discussions about a profit sharing arrangement as well. Employees receive a discount on wine, and the position is grat positive. Because this is a walk up situation, the kitchen staff are dealing directly with the customers and there are no servers. We are not open early in the morning and late nights are rare, so this is an excellent position for someone who is starting to think about easing into retirement.
