About The Role
Are you a data-driven professional with a passion for transforming insights into strategic action? As the Manager, Digital Insights & Intelligence, you will be the subject matter expert driving Tourism Richmond’s evolution into a leading data-driven destination marketing organization. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the development of cutting-edge analytics and intelligence strategies, leveraging data to optimize marketing performance and enhance the consumer journey. You will manage and refine our digital analytics platforms, audience segmentation, and reporting frameworks, ensuring our data capabilities remain innovative and impactful. With a strong analytical mindset and expertise in digital marketing technologies, you will collaborate cross-functionally to translate complex data into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment where data fuels decision-making and are eager to shape the future of tourism marketing through advanced analytics.
This is a full-time, permanent hybrid position that requires in-office work at least three times per week. Some overtime and after-hours work may be required. The salary range is $70,000-$79,000.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
What You Will Be Doing
• Lead Tourism Richmond’s digital analytics strategy and measurement framework to generate consumer journey insights and assess marketing performance and digital impact.
• Standardize and enhance Tourism Richmond’s marketing analytics, audience segments, data warehouse, and tagging ecosystems (Google platforms, UTM builder, Meta), including all analytic implementation efforts.
• Leverage digital channels and data to generate meaningful and valuable insights to maximize marketing (campaign) performance.
• Develop advanced reports, executive dashboards, and train the team on analytics tools, including reporting guidelines, key metrics, and data integration.
• Develop and implement corporate-level metrics, reporting, and dashboards for Tourism Richmond’s Scorecard, Board reports, stakeholder updates, and destination indicators.
• Act as an essential contributor in defining and measuring the consumer journey across digital channels, including the website and mobile experience, taxonomy, usability and redesign initiatives.
• Stay updated on digital, data, and analytics trends to ensure Tourism Richmond adopts best practices and innovative technologies like AI.
• Drive Tourism Richmond’s CRM and email strategy, managing platforms and optimizing database and campaign best practices.
What You Will Bring
• Five years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Exceptional analytical skills in a database marketing environment.
• Experience and expertise with the Google Ecosystem, particularly Google Cloud Platform.
• Marketing data analysis in B2C and B2B environment.
• Experience working with SQL databases.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and drive projects through to completion.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience with or knowledge of digital advertising platforms (DMPs, Ad Servers, DSPs, Search Platforms, Site Analytics) would be an asset.
Salary/Wage
$70,000-$79,000 annually
