Job Description
Are you a creative and driven marketing professional eager to make an impact in the hospitality industry? We’re seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team at the iconic Wall Centre Hotels.
As a Marketing Coordinator, you’ll collaborate closely with our Director of Marketing, to execute innovative marketing strategies and campaigns. Your responsibilities will include managing social media content, assisting with digital marketing initiatives, and ensuring our brand voice resonates across all platforms. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary of $55,000–$65,000 per year plus incredible benefits.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
MARKETING
Assists in the execution of marketing strategies and campaigns as outlined by Director of Marketing.
Tracks and reconciles marketing budget expenditures.
Ensures all marketing efforts align with brand voice and guidelines.
Works with Director of Marketing to assist in promotional strategy execution.
Assists in managing property email marketing initiatives, digital strategy implementation, and performance tracking.
Assists in preparing reports and analyzing key marketing metrics to support decision-making.
Coordinates with internal and external partners to ensure marketing deliverables are executed effectively.
Assists in the execution of the annual digital marketing plan and partnership marketing initiatives.
Supports OTA marketing strategies in collaboration with Director of Marketing & Revenue Team.
Assists with SEO updates and recommendations in coordination with Director of Marketing.
Identifies local digital marketing opportunities and supports content updates on third-party and partner sites.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Create and implement social media marketing campaigns and content calendar in collaboration with the Director of Marketing.
Create content and provide strategic copywriting for online social channels: videos, social media posts, stories, and reels.
Create and manage social media publishing schedules through company’s approved SMMS.
Provide new, quirky ideas for social media campaigns and posts.
Suggest new initiatives to expand reach, increase engagements and attract potential guests through social media and online tactics
Supports the execution of social media strategies and content development.
Assists in managing the paid social media budget and strategy.
Helps curate content for social media calendars and collects property and local area event information for posting.
CONTENT MANAGEMENT
Assists in maintaining accurate and engaging content on hotel websites and third-party platforms.
Assists in the maintaining the Wall Centre Archives, under guidance from Director of Marketing.
Updates Marriott.com, OTA sites, and other digital platforms with relevant hotel content.
Assists in the creation and maintenance of landing pages and Discovery Pages.
Helps manage guest communications such as confirmation and pre-arrival messages.
PARTNERSHIP
Supports the implementation of partnership marketing strategies.
Assists in identifying and maintaining internal and external partnerships.
Helps execute public relations efforts, including managing PR messaging and coordinating press materials.
Supports planning and execution of PR events and promotions.
OUTLET AND ANCILLARY
Assists in identifying outlet marketing opportunities and executing marketing initiatives for F&B outlets and other ancillary revenue streams.
Coordinates in-house F&B programming in partnership with the Food & Beverage team, under guidance from the Director of Marketing.
GENERAL
Supports the development and organization of marketing assets, including collateral, archival content and photoshoots.
Assists in planning, executing, and distributing photography and branding materials.
Ensures all marketing materials align with brand standards and are up to date.
· Other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Degree or Diploma in Marketing.
· 1+ years of experience in Marketing Coordination, PR, CRM, SEO, and Social Media Management
· Up to date knowledge of the changing world of digital marketing.
· Proficiency in creating and sharing compelling content on social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok)
· Ability to work independently with project-based guideline and in a team environment.
· Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong written and oral communication in English with focus on spelling, grammar and proof reading.
· A keen eye for detail.
· Strong time management skills.
· Flexible attitude in a fast-paced changing environment.
· Hospitality background preferred.
Salary/Wage
55,000- $65,000
