Job Description

Discover Holidays Inc. is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Product Manager responsible for contracting with suppliers, negotiating terms, and managing our product inventory. Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Product Development: Lead the strategic vision and roadmap for our travel products, identifying market trends and customer preferences to drive innovation and differentiation.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Forge and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure the procurement of high-quality services and accommodations for our customers.
• Product Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize our product portfolio, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance profitability, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to align product strategies with overall business objectives and ensure seamless execution.
• Market Research and Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging destinations to inform product decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
• Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability, considering market dynamics and cost structures.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee quality assurance processes to uphold the highest standards of product excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Customer Experience Enhancement: Champion the customer experience by addressing feedback, resolving issues, and implementing enhancements to elevate the overall travel experience.
• Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the product coordination team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Qualifications:

• Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in product management roles within the travel industry, with a track record of driving product innovation and growth.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities, including proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to derive actionable insights and inform decision-making.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
• Strategic Thinking: Strategic mindset with the ability to envision long-term product goals and translate them into actionable plans and initiatives.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for Travel: Genuine passion for travel and a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences within the travel industry.
• Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership capabilities with a collaborative and empowering approach to team management and development.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or a related field. Additional certifications or qualifications in product management are a plus.
