Are you a people-oriented individual with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences? Join our Reservations Agent Team at Landsea Tours ! Based at our Richmond head office, this role involves promoting, selling, and coordinating reservations for our tours and services via phone and email. Reporting to the Reservations Manager, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, building strong relationships with Tour Guides, hotel concierges, front desk agents, and tour companies while showcasing integrity, adaptability, and a commitment to outstanding service.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Job Responsibilities:
Accurately records guest reservations for all Landsea Tours & Adventures products.
Collaborates daily with the Reservation & Team Lead to ensure smooth operations.
Completes tasks assigned by the Reservation Manager in a timely manner.
Ensures comprehensive telephone coverage and handles customer inquiries.
Delivers high-quality, personalized customer service to guests.
Responds to tour information requests via phone and email.
Coordinates and fulfills last-minute requests and bookings.
Reviews, addresses, and directs emails to the appropriate departments.
Stays informed on current tour details, schedules, pickup times, and hotel locations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a sales or customer service environment.
Exceptional customer service skills.
In-depth knowledge of Vancouver, Whistler, and Victoria.
Strong interpersonal and active listening skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Basic understanding of the travel and tourism industry.
Post-secondary education or experience in tourism or hotel management is an asset.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at follow-through.
Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel) and Mac OS.
Familiar with Google Applications and Gmail.
Team player with a professional and friendly phone manner.
Ability to work collaboratively with team members and management to resolve issues.
Responds to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Escalates customer service concerns to management when necessary.
Builds strong relationships with hotel concierges, front desk agents, and tour companies.
