Position Overview
Aldesta Hotel Group is seeking an experienced and results-driven Revenue Manager to oversee revenue strategies across multiple properties in our portfolio. This pivotal role is responsible for optimizing room occupancy, maximizing revenue, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with teams across various locations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Multi-Property Oversight
Manage revenue strategies for multiple properties within Aldesta Hotel Group, ensuring consistent alignment with organizational goals.
Collaborate regularly with on-site teams through virtual meetings and scheduled site visits to develop and implement tailored revenue strategies.
Report directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing and coordinate closely with General Managers to ensure successful execution of revenue plans.
2. Revenue Strategy & Analysis
Drive sales and marketing efforts to optimize occupancy and maximize average daily rate (ADR).
Utilize market intelligence tools (e.g., STR reports, benchmarking platforms) to analyze rate reports, booking trends, and competitor data, adjusting pricing strategies to maintain market competitiveness.
Prepare detailed monthly revenue forecasts and propose annual room rates, including executive upgrades, to align with business goals.
Identify and recommend revenue-generating opportunities, trends, and strategies to the leadership team.
3. Operational Leadership
Oversee the seamless operation of reservation departments across properties, ensuring efficient processes and adherence to company policies.
Lead and mentor reservation teams, focusing on training and development to enhance service quality and achieve departmental goals.
Monitor and improve reservation conversion rates and ensure accuracy in all reservation processes.
Conduct team briefings and foster open communication across departments.
4. Collaboration & Communication
Maintain clear and effective communication within the revenue management team and with all hotel departments.
Partner closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing and property General Managers to ensure alignment on revenue strategies and marketing initiatives.
Provide regular, detailed competitor analysis, including pricing, market demand, and business levels, to inform decision-making.
5. Technology & Innovation
Leverage advanced hotel technology, including PMS, SynXis CRS, Channel Manager, GDS, and extranets, to optimize performance and streamline processes.
Evaluate and recommend emerging revenue management tools to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
Ensure all reservations are accurately recorded, confirmed, and managed efficiently.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in revenue management, with at least 2 years overseeing multi-property revenue strategies.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
Strong command of written and spoken English; proficiency in additional languages such as Mandarin, French, or Spanish is an asset.
In-depth knowledge of property management systems (e.g., Opera PMS) and distribution platforms.
Industry-recognized certifications such as CRME (Certified Revenue Management Executive) are an asset.
