Our mission is to provide an unparalleled luxury fishing experience that not only immerses our guests in the natural beauty of our surroundings but also instills a deep appreciation for fishing and the environment.

This full-time position has a contract length subject to change based on the demands of the season between mid-June to mid-September.

Get to know us:

Drive west along one of the most scenic highways in Canada through the spectacular mountainous landscape of Strathcona Park and the village of Gold River towards Tahsis. Approximately 2 hours by road from Campbell River on Vancouver Island is Moutcha Bay Resort, on the waters of Nootka Sound.

Requirements of Room Attendant:

• Strong hospitality and interpersonal skills with an ability to address guest requests and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Ability to walk on uneven terrain, climb stairs, and work while standing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and bending.
• A commitment to cleanliness by having a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects up to 30 pounds.
• WHMIS Certification.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties of Room Attendant:

• Clean guest rooms (bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living area), laundry rooms, public washrooms, staff washrooms, staff rooms, common areas, and other areas as requested.
• Wash, dry, and fold laundry according to housekeeping procedures.
• Work safely and in compliance with WorkSafeBC.
• Ensure the safety and confidentiality of our owners, guests, and employees.
• Safely operate housekeeping vehicles and/or golf carts in accordance with company policies.

Salary/Wage

20/hr
