Trimark People Solutions, on behalf of our client, is recruiting for a full-time Sales Specialist.

This is a remote position based in Vancouver, Edmonton, or Calgary.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Sales Specialist to join our team, driving growth and making memories happen for our clients across a variety of group travel experiences.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Sales Specialist, you will be at the forefront of Backside Tours, connecting with new and returning clients to grow our business in group travel, including sports travel, ski trips, and corporate tours. This role is perfect for someone who’s passionate about travel, skilled in relationship-building, and driven to meet goals. You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, understanding their unique needs, and guiding them to the perfect tour package. Your role will also involve collaborating with our marketing team to implement targeted sales strategies, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring our clients have an unforgettable experience.

COMPENSATION
Full time: $20-25/hr based on a 40 hour week plus commission.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Prospect and identify new leads for Backside Tour’s group travel experiences, including sports teams, corporate groups, school trips, and social clubs.
* Build and nurture relationships with corporate clients, sports organizations, school groups, and recreational clubs.
* Manage and respond to incoming inquiries, presenting tailored travel packages to meet clients’ needs.
* Collaborate with our marketing and sales team to develop and execute sales campaigns for group and sports travel.
* Follow up on quotes, close sales, and drive growth in key market segments.
* Track and report on sales metrics, providing insights to optimize strategies.
* Act as a brand ambassador, representing Backside Tours’ commitment to quality and exceptional customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS
* 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in travel, sports, or group event planning.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Passionate about travel, sports, and the outdoor lifestyle.

Salary/Wage

$20-$25/hr
