Job Description

Hendrick’s our all- day dining room is searching for one individual to join this team! Applicants must be committed to working Saturday and Sunday mornings. Other shifts may be available.  Furthermore, one must demonstrate their abilities to work in a highly organized environment. Welcome guests and promptly attend to tables. Manage guest queries in a friendly, timely and efficient manner. Ensures knowledge of menu and products, good follow up for special requests. At all times demonstrates a pleasing and helpful attitude towards guests and fellow team members. Rings in orders correctly, following all established procedures. Record transactions in the MICROS system correctly and timely. Follows correct reporting procedures when faced with challenges. Controls own float and handling of cash. Clean tables, complete open or closing duties and re-stock tableware and other supplies. May assist in ensuring buffet is stocked at all times. Comply with
H & Safety procedures, Hilton polices, and emergency procedures. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Previous Serving experience in a similar Hotel or equivalent Restaurant. Knowledge of Micros or other computer systems. Great conversational skills and teamwork oriented. Positive outlook and outgoing personality. Ability to work under pressure with deadlines. Strong organizational skills. Ability to listen and respond to demanding guest needs. Physically capable of moving chairs, tables and safely lifting up to 25 lbs. Must have English communication skills – reading and writing. Serving It Right Certification is current.

Salary/Wage

19.44 -21.60
