Job Summary
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic individual to manage our social media presence. You will be responsible for implementing social media strategies that enhance our brand visibility and engage our audience. Passionate about all that our beautiful mountaintop environment has to offer, you will take great pride in showcasing Grouse Mountain to the wider community. We are looking for a modified working schedule of Tuesday-Saturday.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:
-Execute social media strategies to support marketing and communication goals.
-Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across social media platforms.
-Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a timely manner while cultivating a positive community.
-Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and inform future strategies.
-Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to ensure brand consistency.
-Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
-Assist in the planning and execution of content calendars and social media campaigns.
-Coordinate and produce internal and external photoshoots and video content.
-Work flexible hours/on-call as needed to manage social media activities.
-Support in crisis communication efforts and execute social media responses during crises.
-Assist with other marketing and communication duties as directed.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
-Post-secondary background in communications, digital marketing, media relations, journalism, or a related field.
-Minimum 2 years of experience in social media management or a related field.
-Exceptional grasp of the English language and excellent written communication skills, with the ability to tailor writing style to appropriately match audience and brand voice.
-Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
-Experience with social media channels, analytics, and posting tools.
-Ability to network and build strong internal and external relationships.
-Superior attention to detail and the ability to think and act strategically.
-Capacity to work under pressure while delivering social media that aligns with the Grouse Mountain brand.
-Passionate about an active outdoor lifestyle, including snow sports, hiking and mountain biking.

Salary/Wage

45,000 - 55,000/year
