Job Title: Street Sales Ambassador
Start Date: Training to commence in preparation for the cruise ship season beginning May 2025
Position Type: Seasonal – Full-time & Part-time roles available
Location: Downtown Vancouver
Compensation: $18/hour + commission

We’re looking for energetic, outgoing, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Street Sales Ambassadors. In this role, you’ll promote and sell our popular Hop-On Hop-Off sightseeing tours and attractions to tourists from all over the world.
Whether you’re stationed outdoors or indoors at various downtown locations, you’ll act as a key point of contact, offering personalized recommendations and helping guests make the most of their Vancouver experience.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
-Sell and book Hop-On Hop-Off tours and attraction tickets using a handheld point-of-sale system
-Proactively engage with visitors, ask open-ended questions, and tailor suggestions based on their interests
-Meet or exceed individual sales targets while delivering exceptional guest service
-Issue tickets onboard our trolley buses in support of Tour Drivers
-Manage guest lineups efficiently during peak periods
-Address guest questions or concerns with professionalism and escalate to a supervisor when needed
-Stay updated with tour operations and help ensure effective communication within the team
What We’re Looking For
-Prior experience in sales and/or customer service
-A friendly, outgoing personality and excellent communication skills
-Motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic about working with people
-Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for extended periods
-Familiar with point-of-sale systems; experience handling cash and credit card transactions is a plus
-Knowledge of Vancouver’s downtown core and key attractions
-Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
-A team player who can also work independently
-Experience in the tourism or hospitality industry is an asset
