Job Description

A Biosphere certified destination, Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism is committed to ensuring the pillars of sustainability are adopted across the organization’s programs and projects. This year’s summer student positions will provide students an opportunity to train on the Responsible Institute sustainability evidence platform, to work with operators gathering Biosphere evidence and uploading to reporting sites, expand the native plant project across the region and support the launch of a regional pollinator program.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties could include:
* gathering documented evidence of operator sustainability efforts
* uploading data to online platforms
* completing sustainability checklists
* project management and administrative tasks
* utilizing the McGill University sustainable events evaluation tool
* generating reports and making recommendations for improvements
* meeting with operators to educate about sustainable practices
