What You’ll Be Doing
As a Tour Guide, you’ll be the heart and soul of our tours, bringing Canada’s beauty and stories to life. Every day is different, filled with opportunities to:

-Lead groups of diverse travelers on exciting tours through Western Canada, from the Rockies to the West Coast.
-Share stories, fun facts, and insights into Canada’s culture, history, and landscapes.
-Create a welcoming, fun, and safe environment for all travelers.
-Handle logistics, manage schedules, and keep the group on track.
-Build connections and lifelong memories with travelers from across the globe!

What We’re Looking For
-Great storytelling skills – you know how to keep a crowd entertained.
-Excellent people skills, with the ability to connect with travelers from all walks of life.
-Previous guiding experience is a plus but not required – we provide training for the right candidates!
-Excellent organisation, time management and communication skills
-Be able to respond to changing conditions or unexpected events in a calm manner
-Knowledge of history and the geography of Western Canada and the N-West US an asset
-Additional entertainment skills, for example musical abilities is a big asset, but not required

Requirements
-Valid BC Class 4 Driver’s License (or willing to obtain before the season starts).
-Training provided for right candidates
-Ability to work weekends and some evenings.
-Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector) – We also work with Students!
-Occupational First Aid certification including CPR-C (or willing to obtain).
-Fluent in English; additional languages are a bonus.

Payment Structure:
Competitive wage based on experience and qualifications (to be discussed)
Average of $20-25 p/h Step on Guides – Most Tours are based on a set tour rate
Average of $22-30 p/h for Drivers and Driver Guides – Most tours are base on a set tour rate
Training and Training Tours conducted at minimum wage
