Job Description

Canadian Sun & Mountains Travel is looking for some additional tour guides/drivers for the summer of 2020 to strengthen our team. Our small group tours have no more than 12 clients at the time and typically run between 2 to 3 weeks. The positions we are trying to fill are for tours in BC and Alberta (Rocky Mountains). Knowledge of British Columbia and Alberta (geography, flora, fauna, history, political system, education system, health care etc.) is a prerequisite. Strong leadership and organisational skills are welcomed.
We offer competitive wages, living out allowance and hotel accommodation while on tour.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

– MUST be a native English speaker or at professional level
– The ideal candidate is between 30 and 45 years old with some prior experience in tour guiding.
– Position requires a valid Class 4 driver license
– Occupational 1st aid is required
– Candidates must be Canadians or have a valid work visa.
– Sufficient fitness level to accompany customers on day hikes.

Salary/Wage

250/day
